The basics about Flamaz, in a few words.
What is Flamaz?
A travel search engine. It compares hotels, activities and event tickets from more than thirty providers and takes you to book with the provider. Hotels can be booked directly on Flamaz. It is available in Spanish, English and Simplified Chinese.
Does it cost anything?
No. When you book, the provider pays us a commission; the price for you is the same as on their site.
Do I need an account?
Not to search. With an account you can save hotels, activities and events, see your bookings in My trips and use the chat with your history.
Where do the prices come from?
From each provider, at the time of the search, so they can change until you complete the booking. For hotels you see the final price, taxes included, before paying. For activities and events the price is the provider's and may include booking fees they show at checkout.
Who do I book with?
Activities and tickets are booked on the provider's site; they send the confirmation and handle changes and cancellations. Hotels are booked on Flamaz: we handle the payment and the confirmation, and the hotel provides the stay under the conditions you see before confirming.
Is it safe to pay?
Yes. Payment is processed by a certified payment gateway and Flamaz never sees or stores your full card details. Cancellations and refunds follow the rate you chose, which is shown before you pay.
How does the chat work?
It is an AI assistant, using a model by Anthropic, that you can ask about destinations, dates, budgets or visas. It can be wrong: check prices, times and requirements with the provider or the official source before booking. Without an account you get a few messages a day; with an account, more.
What data do you keep?
If you have an account, your email and name, what you save and your bookings. Also technical data, such as your IP address, to limit abuse. What is kept and which providers it is shared with is in the privacy policy.
Can I download or delete my data?
Yes. From your privacy panel you can download a copy of your data and delete your account. We only keep what the law requires us to keep, such as booking invoices.
Do you use cookies?
The ones the site needs to work, always. Analytics and affiliate cookies only if you accept them in the notice. You can change your choice at any time from the cookies page.
